Slaughter’s 1985 demo, Surrender or Die, which included earlier versions of some of the songs that ended up being part of their legendary debut album, Strappado, as well as some exclusive tracks and a cover of Hellhammer’s “Massacra”. You can already appreciate their trademark chainsaw guitar sound on this recording, as well as the crazy drumming. Slaughter were one of the most influential bands in the underground, leaving their mark on many quintessential bands, from early Death to Repulsion. Mastered by Patrick W.
