Maelstrom

Maelstrom were formed in Zaragoza, Spain in the late 80s, being one of the first death metal bands in the country. They recorded two demos, Resting in the Pantheon (1990) and Augury of Decline (1992). In October 2025 we released the ultimate band’s compilation, including both demos professionally transfered, restored and mastered by Patrick W. Engel. Just as important, the vinyl version included a massive 76-page booklet created after a year and a half worth of work unearthing tons of pictures, flyers, posters, ‘zine interviews… and compiling a Spanish-written biography of the band from total obscurity. We also released official Maelstrom t-shirts for the first time. As a label based in Zaragoza, we are more than proud to keep their legacy alive. You can find all releases and merch below.
