Phantom were formed in Guadalajara, Mexico, in 2021. Since then, they have maintained a prolific release schedule. They have released several albums, along with a collection of demos and EPs. Initially, they worked with underground labels such as Headsplit Records. They are now signed to High Roller Records.
The band plays a violent brand of speed/thrash metal. Their music combines horror-themed lyrics with an eerie atmosphere. They also maintain a strong live presence and play regularly.
Not Midnight Yet is their latest album, released in 2026. The record has further established Phantom within the underground metal scene. It builds on the band’s previous work while showcasing a more defined and confident sound.
