AQUELARRE – Noche de Brujas (CD)

Aquelarre was a Spanish heavy metal band formed in Barcelona, back in 1984. They didn’t record their first full-length album until the olympic year of 1992, but then the label that signed Aquelarre never released it and the recording was left to be forgotten, until the great folks at Metal Crusaders and Lullabye Records rescued this material and finally released it in proper CD format 25 years later, with four bonus tracks. Despite being recorded in the early 90s, it’s pure 80s heavy metal in the vein of other Barcelona bands from the early years of the genre such as EVO, Zeus or Magia Negra. The story of the band is told in the great CD booklet along with plenty of band pictures, flyers, etc.
