ASPHYX – Death…The Brutal Way (12″ LP on Green / Black Marble Vinyl, Gatefold)

2022 reissue of the 2009 Asphyx album that marked the return of Martin Van Drunen on vocals. Eric Daniels had unfortunately left the band at that point, with Paul Baayens from Hail of Bullets stepping in on guitars, leaving Bob Bagchus on drums as the sole founding member. Pentacle’s Wannes Gubbels still took care of the bass and backing vocals, before he left the band shortly after. It’s still a pretty decent album except for that silly song about them getting drunk at Party San.
