Meltification is a new grindcore band crawling out of Copenhagen’s sewers. The band recently made its live debut at an Extremely Rotten Productions showcase in its hometown. There, it delivered a relentless set that immediately announced its arrival.
The band draws inspiration from grindcore heavyweights such as Terrorizer, Brutal Truth, and Napalm Death. As a result, they have quickly emerged as one of Denmark’s most promising grindcore acts. Meanwhile, vocalist, guitarist, and bassist Tue Sprogø also shapes the band’s visual identity. An accomplished illustrator, he creates all of the band’s artwork.
The band looks ready to become a major force in the Scandinavian grindcore scene. If this debut is any indication, more devastating releases will soon follow.
